Tough Characters, Amazing Authors
In the next couple of weeks, we're hosting a fantastic selection of authors known for their tough, independent characters.
On Saturday, February 24, we welcome J. Anderson Coats. We loved her last book about a strong young girl making a life on the frontier. Now you're invited to the launch party of her newest title, R is for Rebel. It's an exciting middle grade read with a daring young heroine named Malley.
On Wednesday, February 28, fantasy legend Tamora Pierce and Vancouver-based author Rachel Hartman visit us for discussions of their much-anticipated new titles in conversation with PNW favorite Lish McBride. Pierce will be sharing the first book in her new series about a young sorcerer named Numair, Tempests and Slaughter. Hartman will be taking us back to the fantastical world she introduced us to in her book Seraphina with Tess of the Road.
On Monday, March 5, we're joined by best-selling authors Patricia Briggs and Anne Bishop. Brigg's will be reading from the latest installment of her Alpha and Omega werewolf series, Burn Bright. Bishop will be sharing the newest book in her The Others series, Lake Silence.
Add magic and adventure to your evenings with these can't-miss author events! Also, stay on top of these and other bookstore events by visiting our events website or signing up for our events enewsletter.
